VPlus Networks have been working with a central Government department
over the past two years developing and managing its global
wide area network.
The wide area network links the UK headquarters to a total
of 16 offices in the USA, Asia and Europe for email and business
critical applications such as Internet, Intranet, access to
databases and file sharing.
Previously the agency had been using leased line frame relay
technology but the costs were proving prohibitive. VPlus developed
a bespoke Remote Access Solution based on Virtual Private
Network technology using the Internet as the carrier. |
