Following the success of the pilot, VPlus will extend the
solution to thousands of additional employees covering the
use of 70 applications. The solution is based on Virtual Private
Network technology which is not only very cost-effective but
also totally secure using the best SSL (Secure Socket Layer),
authentication and encryption technologies currently available.
The aim is to make it as easy for employees on the road or
working at home to access data and applications as if they
were sitting at their desk in the office. As the work involves
highly confidential and sensitive information VPlus developed
a unique authentication and two-level encryption system to
prevent any unauthorised access.
