Another requirement is that speed and performance using remote
access would be as good as that experienced by the personnel
in their offices. VPlus has put in place business Service
Level Agreements which guarantee network uptime and performance.
A dedicated team of highly experienced technicians at VPlus
continually monitors the network to spot any potential problems
and take any necessary measures to avert them.
VPlus fought off tough competition from eight other suppliers
to win the contract. These included BT, HP, Thus and Computacenter.
Commenting on the project, the organisation’s IT director
said:
